  -- p. 101 of OF. Brown says Martha was the dau. of Sir Lawrence who was cousin to Sir Lawrence of Wicken, father of Rev. Lawrence, whose two sons, Lawrence and Colonel John emigrated to America. Colonel John was great-grandfather of George Washington.(see also mention in the visitations).
